Located in the heart of Dannevirke High Street, the Regent Cinema welcomes many locals
and tourists to the building, offering an old fashioned movie experience, in the Historic Place's Category 2 Building.

'Advertisers' help DRC financially, and it is one way you can support the Cinema
We are a non-profit and every cent stays within the Building, which helps us with Operations, future upgrades, including equipment and improvements

How big is the screen?

Our screen is around 9 metres wide x 3.5 metres high.

How often can the "Adverts" be changed?
​
Adverts can be changed on a monthly basis.

How often is the cinema open?
​
The Cinema is open regularly Wednesday to Sunday, with a chance of special events also taking place in the week. During the School Holidays we put on 6-8 extra mid week sessions.

What is the captive audience size for the cinema per night?
​
The Cinema seats 170 people ​and average sessions for us can be around 20-40 tickets.

What is the age demographic of the Regent/Regent Cinema?
​
A versatile audience visits the Regent every day, with the option for different films offering the chance for both younger, and older audiences to attend.

How many people pass through the Regent building annually?

In 2025 we had 8,000 ticket sales (people through our doors!!!)
