Help 'run' the Cinema

Re-opened April 2022 by Enthusiast's with the Support of the Building Owner and a Dedicated Band of Locals, the Cinema is Currently operated by an Incorporated Society Formed October 2022 comprising of Everyday people from the Community all pitching in to help "make things happen"

Supported by Local Farmer's, Small Business owners, Mum's & Dad's and Retiree's

Many of Whom are simply passionate about Dannevirke and "sit out" when Films are playing

Collectively we all put in over 100 Hours a week performing various duties from Basic Maintenance and Repairs, Cleaning, "Shop" duties, such has 'Front of House' and looking after stock, Technical side such as Movie Applications and 'Sorting', Roster management and yes Social Media and Website updates

What can you do?

In short, as much or as little as you can! We do however ask that all Volunteers commit to a minimum of 2 sessions per month.

We operate with a Minimum of 2x people on Site.

Volunteer applications can be done by emailing us on dvkeregentcinema@gmail.com, or pop into one of our Sessions, and meet some of our wonderful Volunteers and fill out a new Volunteer form. Our Volunteer Liason's will organise a time to meet with you, show you around the place and book your induction in.

We can Seat up to 170 patrons and have seen a FULL House on at least 4x Special Events, so far.

Become a "Member"

For just $25 : Membership benefits will include:

- 2 FREE tickets upon signing up, and 2 per financial year (after the AGM).
- Exclusive society only events throughout the year, as planned by the committee.

- VIP card with FREE Popcorn on your 5th ticket, and your 10th ticket is FREE.
- Members with an advertising contract will receive 5 free tickets per month of advertising (up to a maximum of 20 tickets)

We can accept Donations at any time & we could use a hand to create and manage sponsorship options

All of the Proceeds from our Nibble Nook/Shop ,Ticket Sales and Venue Hire's stay in the Cinema for Improvements, upgrades, and to help preserve Dannevirke History.
